Come and unwind in this 16th Century water mill that was listed in the Doomsday book, and is now a large holiday house, near Ashbourne and the Peak District. This is a great venue for bringing together a large group of friends or family, for a holiday exploring the Peak District, a weekend catching up, or for celebrating a special occasion together. We also accept respectful hens and stags.
Brailsford Water Mill can accommodate 20 guests in 8 bedrooms, and is spread across 3 floors. On the ground floor there’s a large kitchen with a table big enough for you all to eat together. Upstairs on the middle floor is a cosy lounge with the original mill wheels on show. Bedrooms are found on each of the 3 floors, with a mixture of double beds, bunkbeds and single beds. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 shower rooms (one of which is ensuite).
Outside there are large gardens to explore, with an area for al fresco dining and a barbecue, and mill ponds to sit and relax next to on a sunny day listening to the water flow over the mill race.
